Poem - Bed in Summer - Robert Louis Stephenson - Pre Int - Int

Bed in Summer -  Robert Louis Stephenson

Read the poem and look at the pictures. Try to fill the gaps.

In winter I get up at night
And dress by yellow -light.

In summer quite the other way,
I have to go to bed by day.

I have to go to bed and see
The  still hopping on the tree

Or hear the grown up people´s
Still passing by me in the street

And does it not seem hard to you
When all the sky is clear and

When I should like so much to
To have to go to bed by day?

Now watch the video and check your answers

candle, birds, feet, blue, play
